Yomim Nora’im Ticket Policy and Guest Tickets (2023)

Tickets:

Everyone who is planning to join us in person for any of the High Holy Day services will need to present a ticket at the door in order to be admitted into the building.  This is done for security reasons; we hope you understand.  All members in good standing (meaning you have either paid all or a minimum of 20% of your agreed upon commitment) will receive tickets in the mail approximately two weeks before Rosh HaShanah.  A ticket will be issued for each adult and child residing in the household, according to your status (one adult households will receive 1 adult ticket, plus tickets for any children, age 18 to 30 living in your household; two adult households will receive 2 adult tickets, plus tickets for any children, age 18 to 30 living in your household). Children under the age of 18 will not require a ticket.

Guest Tickets:

If you have family or friends who will be visiting with you over the holidays and would like them to join you at our service, they too will need tickets.  Tickets are also required for any of your own children who are age 30 or older.  The fee for guest tickets this year will be $180/pp or $360 per family (note that all children aged 18 and under will be included for no additional charge).

Please note:  If your guests/children are members in good standing at another synagogue, they can ask their synagogue to send us a Reciprocity Request Form and we will be able to issue tickets free of charge (that also works for you, if you are planning to attend services at another synagogue with your family – just call the office to arrange for a Reciprocity Request Form to be sent!)

Zoom:

If you are planning to attend services via Zoom, or if you have other family or friends who would like to join us via Zoom, we just ask that you register each participant’s name so that we will be able to recognize them and admit them into the service.  “Zoom Bombing” sadly continues to happen and for that reason, we will only admit people into the Zoom service if they have registered in advance and are on our list.  While there is no charge for Zoom services, a donation of $18 or more is suggested and greatly appreciated.

We are the Soulful Shul on the Main Line. Whoever you are ― and wherever you are on your Jewish journey ― we welcome you.
