At Beth Am Israel, the goal of our education program (Beit Midrash) is to create a joyful, caring, and safe learning environment for our children and families to develop their Jewish identities. Our curriculum focuses on Jewish values, Hebrew, holidays, prayer and Torah. Our school meets twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays, and provides a different learning experience on each day. We are proud of our Shabbat morning educational program, which cultivates the importance of learning and participation as a shared family experience in a Jewish Shabbat atmosphere. Some highlights of our programs include Hebrew learning by levels, community-based service projects and classroom projects.
