The Beth Am Israel LGBTQ committee invites congregants and community members to a potluck brunch on the topic of LGBTQ inclusion at Beth Am Israel.
We’re excited about the wonderful milestones we’ve already accomplished as a congregation, and we’re proud of the ways in which we’re reaching out to and supporting members of all identities. With that said, we’re aware that there is always more to do, and we want to make sure that BAI continues to pursue justice and serve all congregants in ways which meet their needs.
Please join us for a potluck brunch at the home of Denise and Andy Clibanoff in Merion. During the meal, we’ll ask participants to discuss some set prompts, after which we’ll come back together for brainstorming and capacity building activities.
We’d love to see all kinds of folks attend, from LGBTQ members of our community, to allies and family members, to folks who don’t know a lot about LGBTQ identities, but want to help our community learn and grow.
Please RSVP to Donna Kirschner.
Bagels, lox and drinks will be provided. Please visit our signup genius to indicate what you plan to bring and sign up to help out: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080A4BABA723A20-lgbtq
