Haverim –

Our wonderful interfaith partners and friends continue to invite us to join with them in prayer and fellowship. Several upcoming gatherings are on my mind; I invite you to join me in answering our neighbors’ and partners’ call.

Monday November 12th, 3:30 PM

Join us at Beth Am Israel for “Coffee and Conversation” with Nurit Gery, Director of the CoLab at Givat Haviva. We will learn about the brand new International School at Givat Haviva, which draws together Arab, Jewish, and overseas students in one program, first of its kind in Israel and the Middle East. For more details, see our event calendar and please rsvp to jessica@bethamisrael.org

Monday November 12th, 7 PM

80th Anniversary of Kristallnacht Candlelight Prayer Vigil, at Ardmore Presbyterian Church, Mill Creek Road & Montgomery Avenue. We join together to stand against hate and to begin to put together the broken glass of our lives, our community, our country.  See our event calendar for more detail.  Parking will be available in the Suburban Square lot across Montgomery from the church.   We will be meeting on the lawn at Ardmore Presbyterian Church.  Please bundle up; it’ll be chilly!

Monday November 19th, 7 PM

Interfaith Thanksgiving worship, conversation, and community organizing – at Beth David Reform Congregation, Vaughns Lane in Gladwyne. Area churches, mosques, synagogues come together in prayer to share our gratitude, to begin to know one another, and to commit to working together to build and improve our community. See our event calendar for more detail.

I hope to see you on the next two Mondays as we join with our neighbors, partners, and friends in prayer and fellowship.
