High Holidays – 5780

Quick Link:   Printable Schedule

We look forward to reflecting, celebrating, renewing and beginning again – with you
L’shana tova umetukah – for a good and sweet year!

We open our doors each year to prospective families with young children to experience our  hour long Intergenerational Family High Holiday Service. This service is rich in music, age-appropriate prayer, stories, a couple of laughs, followed by moments to connect as a family and as a wider community. We highlight the way we offer prayer and connection throughout the year.

Please note about parking:

  • Parking in our lower lot is reserved for the elderly and those who are unable to park off site and easily enter the van.
  • We will have parking available at both the Welsh Valley Middle School lot and the Tower Lane lot, with van service running back and forth throughout the mornings.
  • To minimize congestion on the hill and avoid unnecessary backups, we ask that you drop off passengers on site only if absolutely necessary.

Our building is fully wheelchair accessible. Materials are available for those who are vision and/or hearing impaired, including braille materials, large magnifying sheets to use with books, large print materials, and hearing aid support. Our staff is happy to answer questions.

If you cannot join us physically at Beth Am Israel for services, please join us virtually!   Access our High Holiday live streaming services at http://bit.ly/BAI-Live
If you need help setting up the link, email mitzvot@bethamisrael.orgwe’ll send someone over to your home to set you up!

Also, email us at mitzvot@bethamisrael.org to let us know if you’ll be joining us online, and we will hand deliver a Machzor (high holiday prayer book) to you.  We would also be happy to send a holiday meal to you, if you can’t leave home.

Beth Am Israel (BAI) is a sacred community of seekers and learners. We focus on experiencing Judaism as a meaningful and relevant practice in everyday life, and we celebrate a pluralistic approach to Judaism that is committed to tradition, innovation, inclusion, and activism. Together, we aspire to build a home where all members can personally explore their Jewish paths through thoughtful, joyful and socially responsible study, prayer and service.

Strong relationships form the core of the BAI community. For many members, BAI is where they have found their closest circle of friends. Inside our thoughtful, intelligent, caring community we recognize the importance of supporting each other in the ups and downs of life. Together, we commit to bringing meaning to our Jewish practice and celebrating the meaning that Judaism brings to our lives. We welcome you to visit us in person! If you’d like to learn about BAI membership, please email info@bethamisrael.org.
