Green Team Energy Challenge Kickoff/Shabbat Lunch & Learn on October 20, 2018 at 12:15 pm. Lunch sponsored by the Green Team and the Krivoshey Family

Amanda Lapham, Climate Defender Organizer with PennEnvironment, will speak about climate change, renewable energy sources, how to change your home energy from PECO to a renewable provider, and why it’s a mitzvah.

The Green Team is kicking off a Renewable Energy Challenge on October 20, and they want your household to be part of it.  Take the survey today!

As you are likely aware, greenhouse gases used to generate electricity are a big part of the current climate change problem, All of us can help mitigate this problem by making small changes in our behavior. Currently PECO does not use any clean, renewable energy sources. However, all Pennsylvania citizens can choose the source of their energy generation by selecting a different energy provider that supplies PECO with renewable energy. It is easy to switch to a different provider using 100% renewable energy, usually at similar or even lesser cost. You will still get your bills from PECO.

Get the details either at lunch or reach out to us at Mitzvah@bethamisrael.org.

Thank you!!
